We had a chance to sit in on some job interviews for native English speakers applying to be teachers. The selection was… spotty. (Photo credit: Hempo from Flickr)

hey mr.miyagi. what u think about the Ministry of Education decision to get Native English Speakers to teach English for schools in Singapore. I for one would like to say that why stop at English?… Get teachers from Malaysia to teach Malay, China teachers to teach Chinese, and India (national) teachers to teach Tamil. Now wouldnt that be neat. Jolly well old chap, I reckon it’ll be time for me to get me ol’ cuppa. Cheerios

Hey your podcast was very cute.
Mr Brown you may not be a native speaker but you are our very own best speaker of Standard Singapore English. You do the Standard English, the Singapore English and the Singlish to perfection.
