The car rental companies play a game to get you to pay more each time. They always ask if you want one class higher. Sometimes, they don’t have the smaller classes and hope that you would say yes and they give you the higher class cars and you pay for that. If you say no and they don’t have the smaller class that you originally selected, they still have to give you the higher class car but you pay the smaller class rate.
Gas? What gas? Americans don’t know how to say petrol. Gas is in gaseous state, petrol is in liquid state when we buy it.
You will realize that Americans say line instead of queue.. sigh..
I can go on… but stop here for now lah.

If you are ever in this part of the world again and would like to see a well-lit bridge at night, then you should drive through the oakland bay bridge (I80).

I agree with Ah Beng’s comment regarding rental car. If they ask you to upgrade, make sure you ask for a FREE upgrade. It usually works, but that’s how the game works here.
