Dear Mr Brown,
If you’d walked along the five-foot way of Geylang (between Lor 13 and 15), you’ll definitely come across one foreign talent employed by a one-dollar shop shouting, “One dorror! one dorror! one dorror! one dorror! one dorro!” in a special rhythm.
Your faithful listener,
Dominique Turpin

Using ERP to control the flow may at first seem like a good idea, just like marking up certain goods prices due the limited stock may discourage a number to buy.
However, the nature of controlling traffic cannot be treated the same as tangible economic goods. This actually reflects how the government runs the Singapore, like a business entity. And tendency for such treatment is the emphasis is placed on monetary gains, human relations and welfare are often neglected, perhaps this only hold true during non-election periods.
Government must understand that people don’t zip down the roads or highway for fun. Beside, Singapore roads are too short for joy rides. In the always government ideal situation, ERP will discourage some motorists to divert their course/use another route, and these new routes may be longer, time consuming, not to mention the unfamiliarity feeling of such roads. These when factor into consideration, may not work in government ideal model. Money is not everything.
The government may want to relearn the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

Well say….Five (Fight) dollars = The gov will collect and we have to FIGHT our dollars.
The gov give the rebate on road tax earlier this year like 8% which to them like dame BIG…but I have told my friends that they can easlier collect back by just up the ERP (Everyday ROB People). They will not loose out, it will be the people who will loose.
The gov promote FAMILY time, with ERP up to 1030pm, how to have family time with your love ones.
So I can only conclude that THEY should also join TALKING cock.com and singing song.
Cheers

ERP = Everyday Rob People
I think this is almost akin to highway “robbery” you pay along the NS Highway, except its legally sanctioned with the use of technology. Same difference.
