Blame it on me.
It is my fault for being too complacent.
It is also my fault for expecting too much from my government.

BLAME IT ON SOMEBODY (from mrbrownshow.com)
Whitley…
Whitley…
Window…
Toilet…
Escape…
Wah Lau Eh…
Manhunt…
Poster…
Limping…
Katek…
It started with a toilet
The Gurkhas didn’t guard it
Mas Selamat took his pants off
And ran away
They heard the water running
They thought that he was peeing
Overflowing bladder
Take all day
Don’t blame it on the big shots
That’s not where the buck stops
It’s never ever their fault
Blame it on somebody
Don’t blame it on the Dua Tao
They already very stressed liao
Find some other Ah Kow
Let some junior mati
The window, no grills on it
The CO said don’t need it
Just cut off window handle
It’ll be okay
The cameras were upgrading
That’s why they weren’t recording
Nobody knows the bugger
Run which way
Don’t blame it on the system
Don’t blame it on the gahmen
Don’t ask for resignation
Wait you left nobody
Don’t blame it on Lim Peh
Don’t blame it on the high pay
Wait you kena Lim Teh
Blame it on somebody
Push the blame
Push the blame
Push the blame to someone else
Let’s move on
Let’s move on
Let’s move on to something else
Not my fault
Not my fault
Not my fault, it’s someone else
Take the pay
Take the pay
Take the pay and nothing else
Don’t blame it on the leaders
Cos they clothe and feed us
It’s not as if they need us
We were just unlucky
PM say don’t blame him
Minister of Home Team
Everybody don’t steam
Just an honest mistake
Honest…
Mistake…
Honest…
Mistake…

thank u mrbrown sir & mrbrownshow team for exceptionally putting in a special podcast apart from your monday’s feed. hehehe.
-off topic again-
anybody here kenna the stupid cid phone scam? just a casual question.
whenever u kenna a police call u on the handphone, ask them to send u an appointment letter instead. i rather meet them face to face.
first time i kenna this, i dun even know if its real or not. hahaha but the tone from the cid inspector sounded not very convincing, and luckily i reacted fast enough not to reveal my personal particulars.
why the inspector ask for my particulars rather than to confirm? beats me. i still waiting for his dumb letter.
i should have recorded the conversation and podcast it, d@mn goes one quality blog entry.

April 25th, 2008 at 11:15 pm
The best thing to do is to blame it on a non-living thing - the window! One of my friend’s msn says: ofcourse its the window’s fault!
The window will not:
a) talk back
b) deny
c) say no
The window’s fault - no wonder its already been thrown away.
Kudos to the MrBrownShow team, always managed to cheer me up during a cloudy day!
It’s your fault lar, I can’t stop laughing !!!
Hehe…

[…] Small pleasures before heading back to the grind on Monday morning. Also of note is a musical take on the Mas Selamat Kastari fiasco here in Singapore. […]
April 26th, 2008 at 12:16 pm

April 26th, 2008 at 1:44 pm

Lyrics for “An Honest Mistake” :
People
They don’t mean a thing to you
They move right through you
Just like your breath
But sometimes
I still think of you
And I just wanted to
Just wanted you to know
My old friend…
I swear I never meant for this
I never meant…
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
An honest mistake
Sometimes
I forget I’m still awake
I fuck up and say these things out loud
My old friend…
I swear I never meant for this
I never meant…
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
An honest….
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
Don’t look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
An honest mistake

Sorry pal , Please don t blame in on Gurkhas . They are elite and tested in history . You can see they are the one really mostly protecting us . They should be respected.

Mr Brown,
Thanks again for making my day!
Looks like the ‘dose of bad gahmen if ministers are not paid millions as promised by MM’ is “now showing” instead of “akan datang”?
So how huh? Must we prepare mother, wife, sister, daughter, grand-daughter to be maids soon or not?
Or is the cock talking Hen (who is now Education Minister) asking his minion to prepare a new compulsory training program on “Do Singapore Proud. Be Maid, Be Happy!” for all women of Singapore?
If the current trick doesn’t work, will the current eleetist leaders tell us that we may end up as prostitutes (males included, bro) if they cannot continue to increase their million $,$$$,$$$ salary packaged with mediocre accountability and responsibility?
Well, they have started on the casinos. Now they are bending the rules so that smoking is allowed in casinos, what else will they not do next?
Si peh song leh, suka suka change laws, suka suka fix laws.
Of course, as we hear ad nauseam, it’s for the good of Singapore!
Viva Singapura!
April 27th, 2008 at 12:05 am
U guys should thank God for your creativity, imagination and guts! U R one of a kind indeed!
FANTASTIC SONG!!! Sooooooooooo hilarious.
This song and the ERP Beep Beep song should be played during National Day celebrations all over Singapore!

Pet Says:
Sorry pal , Please don t blame in on Gurkhas . They are elite and tested in history . You can see they are the one really mostly protecting us . They should be respected.
My apologies dear Pet! It was an honest mistake! I thought the Gurkhas were meant to protect the Elite Ministers, The Emperor and His Pinky-Ass Warrior Son, in case of any coup, uprising or “freak” election results?? I swear didn’t know the Gurkhas were meant to protect us peasants!
April 27th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
..the gurkhas are reknowned as frontline soldiers, not prison wardens.. they served our country during the communist emergency; nothing to joke about.
April 27th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
I told you all before, our women will become maids in other country, if we dont incharge, if Low TK in charge, our women will become 1st class prostitutes.
