The pay-cut gahmen people took is peanuts, groundnuts, walnuts! The “cut” itself are many people’s monthly salaries! The most they buy less luxury goods, lah. For the many people out there, losing a job, esp. for those after 35, is something gahmen will never understand.

Hahaha yes. I finally see light. We need jobs. We pay the Gov to create jobs. Our Gov is good, but not as good as they have advertised themselves to be.
Yes. The foreigners create jobs. And yes, it is not the citizens (us) who need these jobs. It is our dear leaders who after so many years still cannot create value added jobs who need these foreigners to keep things going. If they are so good as they have said, we won’t need foreigners here to keep the cheap jobs to pay us cheap salaries.
Thank you. I finally see light. We don’t need the foreigners, the dear leaders do. Because they screwed up, big time.

Did the gahment really take a pay cut? When I read the ST, I thought they deferred their increment and hence they will see a pay cut next year because of this deferment.
