December 6th, 2006 at 11:44 am

December 6th, 2006 at 12:06 pm
Who was the lead singer ah? Very nice vibratos.
And yes I agree, the podcasts are getting shorter and shorter. What happened to those long ass podcasts which were more entertaining. What happened to those interviews?!
December 6th, 2006 at 1:34 pm
Agree…agree…Maybe should have a format for each day of the week…Maybe like Monday a more light-hearted one to keep the Monday blue away…wed podcast, can be super long to kep us sane…Friday do a compile of that week’s issue…
i dun mind sponsers of commerical entities coming in, but main thing is entertaining…long or short…it’s the skill..the contents…

December 6th, 2006 at 4:18 pm
eh people, why you all keep on asking for the lyrics in this comments page and the previous one?
you all stupid or what?
The lyrics is already inside the mp3 file.
just right click on the file - properties - summary.
for window media player - go to the menu bar - play - captions and subtitles select on if available.
please stop asking for the stupid lyrics.
please, get out of my elite uncaring face.
December 6th, 2006 at 4:56 pm
Eh, M1 sponsor? M1 not owned by SPH meh, just like Today?
December 6th, 2006 at 6:54 pm
I second Weiteck the Great’s weekly schedule suggestion.
December 6th, 2006 at 11:53 pm

December 7th, 2006 at 3:48 pm
The introductory lyrics are missing,
so I have transcribed them below.
Not that elite uncaring faces would be interested. ;-P
* Rudolph the red-nosed mousedeer — Intro *
“You know Ah Seng & Ah Beng & Ah Lian & Benson
Johnson & Ah Huat & Ah Hock & Muthu
“But do you recall
The most famous mousedeer of all?”
To access the rest of the lyrics on iTunes,
just right click on the podcast item, select Get info,
and click on the Lyrics tab.
Thanks to mrbrown & crew for providing the words!
And lyric lovers are interested, not stupid;
uncouth posters act stupidly. B-D
December 7th, 2006 at 9:43 pm
almost, the properties i mean is the mp3 file, not the link on the webpage.
right click on the mp3 file on your desktop.
I am a clever elite.
I have an elite uncaring face.

Lyrics for:
RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED MOUSEDEER
You know Ah Seng and Ah Beng and Ah Lian and Benson
Johnson and Ah Hua and Ah Hock and Mudu
Rudolph the red-nosed mousedeer,
Had a very stuffy nose.
Breathe in too much pollutants,
From the fires in Indo.
All of the other Mousedeer,
Had to flee fast from the flames,
Everybody just act blur,
No-one wanted to take blame.
Then one chow-kwan country say,
We going to complain.
Make our PSI so high,
Make until we see no sky.
Then suddenly the monsoon,
Make the smoggy sky haze free.
But do you know that next year,
We’ll be repeating history.
We’ll be repeating history.
December 8th, 2006 at 10:33 am
weiteck- maybe you can sponsor prizes instead of throwing out ridiculous suggestions. think so easy meh? stay in school.
December 8th, 2006 at 1:52 pm
Then suddenly the monsoon,
Make the smoggy sky haze free.
But do you know that next year,
We’ll be repeating history.
is
Make the smoggy AIR haze free.

December 9th, 2006 at 1:32 pm
I use Quicktime to listen to Mr Brown’s podcasts which directs me to another page… So how do you view the lyrics from there?
December 9th, 2006 at 6:09 pm
Dear NoBoDy (comment #26):
Both the “sky” & the “air” can be filled with smog & haze,
so I feel that the show lyrics remain correct, for common usage.
Dear everyone,
As a general comment, against those creating a stink in the air:
we need not be elite or uncaring to be excellent;
it’s just not clever, and too faceless, to be a snob.
Humility & warmth add more to festive cheer.
Let me join my thanks to those who appreciate
all the commenters, who have so far volunteered
lyrics to the show carols:
Great community, folks!
December 12th, 2006 at 9:14 am
My favourite satirical carol in this bunch! Besides the We Three Kings one, of course. Speaking of mousedeer, can you do one about the polar bear turning age six at the zoo?
