Hi MrB, how come this recording’s sounded quite hollow?

Hi MrB, never mind, I knew what happened. I changed my audio player. :P

This podcast remainds me of the news in taiwian few years back where the reporter was stuck in the rain, crying in front of the camera, and in front of the taiwian’s TV.

This shows how spoilt Singaporeans are!

I think it’s more of how the losses of those affected are always being compared to the way things were in the past or in other countries, as if the inconveniences and losses we suffer from are trivial or what.
While no doubt things were worse in the past, and we are more fortunate relative to our neighbours, we might as well forget about continuously seeking to improve conditions.

mrbrown,
What was that sound right at the end of the reporter’s coverage?
Was he punched? Why then did we not hear him fall into the water?
Or was it the poor Hillview guy fainting over in exasperation?
Just wondering about that little technical effect…
