Why stop at 85, not age 40 where one’s economic worth declines with difficulty in finding jobs? Maybe our gahmen learnt something from the Logan’s Run computer about culling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan’s_Run

hey mr brown, from your previous few podcasts, i can see that u really detest the annuity scheme(s). But then again, what’s there to like about it..

  3. Kai Jie Says:

Hmmm … I am trying to put a name to the ‘minister’ in your show, I have no problem to identify him. Yes, it is definitely him!

i think you are wrong, dont think it will be 1/2 singaporean supporting the other 1/2.

    lets assume,
maybe 2/3 will die before 85.

remainging 1/3 maybe 60% of them will live like 85-88. which means they only collect money for 0-4 years.

    then 30% 89-90 and the 10% 90-100+.

if you look at it, even u live till 87, you only collect 2 years of money. only those who live beyond the age of 92 will break even.

so by saying 1/2 sg supporting the other 1/2 is wrong

only 3.33% will break even or earn abit,
    9.99% lose abit,
19.98% lose alot (especially those who die 1 mth after 85 birthday, you collect only 1 mth of $300)
while the rest of the population which is 66.6% will lose all the money. (66.6% is the magic figure again)

So WHAT HAPPEN TO ALL THE REST OF THE MONEY when only 3.33% breakeven or earn abit? Where will the money go?

    SHOW ME DA MONEY!
