If “O wise ones!” are really that invaluable, then they would not need the many workers under them, thanklessly & namelessly contributing the many brilliant ideas that have brought Singapore to its current prosperity.
If that was so, then we would only need just the ministers, downsize to just their few numbers, and then can afford to pay them double, triple, quadruple, whatever they are getting now. What cost savings!
But the reality remains, that the many “non-elite” who make the broad base that support our “O wise ones!”, are what makes Singapore possible.
They should also be paid generously, so that they would not have to complain about swiftly climbing costs of living.
Otherwise, EVERYONE lives frugally.
Indulging the apex while squeezing the base, can bring the pyramid crashing down.

Singapore have no GPD growth so pap tot of the stupid idea to suck singaporean dry to contribute to their numbers. they only noe how to play with numbers, dont have any solution one. World class lousy gov.
