I’m always amazed at the creativity of Mr Brown & the team….wah biang..i cannot stop laughing lah!!
*Beep Beep Beep Beep*
BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!
But honestly, I hate the fact the reason they gave on news updates…The setting up of ERPs is to ease the traffic congestion! Ease Ge Pi lor!!!
Why? They think set up 1 ERP, the no. of cars will decrease by 100 ah?! Siao..people will just leave house earlier lor..then morning congestion lor…then they wille xtend the ERP timing to 5am lor….then by 2020…ERP will be on 24hrs & we will see a gantry every 10metres!
%*#^&*(^%*$)&…..

HEY! NICE MUSIC! HOW DO U DOWNLOAD IT?!
February 9th, 2008 at 12:32 pm
haha.. my exact sentiments…ERP sucks big time!!! What’s the point of selling cars cheap when you can’t drive???
February 9th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
[…] Anyway, on my way home, there was a massive traffic jam on the CTE. I thought that it was due to people rushing home for their tuan yuan fan (reunion dinner), or maybe it was because certain roads around chinatown were closed, and so people were forced onto the CTE. It was highly unusual for a traffic jam on CTE at 4pm on normal days. However, when just before the PIE exit, I saw 5-6 cars along the shoulder of the expressway, and most of them weren’t in very good shape. I can only imagine there was a 5-6 chain accident, since most of the cars seem to have either their front or rear or both smashed. I guess that explains the accident. I wonder if the upcoming ERP gantries will prevent jams due to accidents and such. “85% of motorists will have a smoother ride”. “Road tax prices will be reduced”. “CEO prices will be reduced.” What they don’t tell you is ERP gantries will be come up by the dozens, so you should buy a car, pay instalments, and not drive it. One thing the Government is wrong about though, a car is not a luxury item, driving a car is. This podcast from Mr Brown more or less sums it up all. […]

ERP Drift . LOL !!!
February 10th, 2008 at 1:32 am
nice one guys… if government can be more transparent about this matter. who not willing to pay?????? Don’t say ease traffic when it doesn’t even help lo… so many people and road user know it.. how can the people UP there not know???? its just really “buai song” lo… sigh…
February 10th, 2008 at 7:11 pm
haiya…no money don b yaya lah…CASINOLAH…..F1…lah then we all pay for it.They think we are so rich can buy car.All are hutang OK.There are always an idea to eat people’s money.Coming soon ERP gantry at every carpark. It’s time for a new government.
February 10th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
Actually what is ERP for…what is the function????Is it to reduce traffic flow or one way to collect money from us.In the beginning ,is only for vehicle going to CBD area. Then for vehicle using xpressway. Now is for the state revenue to pay the salaries of the money minded.Come on guys the problems will not be solve. Road congestion everywhere now.More worse than 10 years ago.

March 1st, 2008 at 8:40 am
its really getting ridiculous by the day. motorists already coughing blood, having to take up loans to afford the vehicle (price inclusive of COE + GST), they also kena roadtax + insurance when transacting for the vehicle already.
long time back, motorists had to pay for zone passes to enter CBD, but now, they dot the island with ERP all over the place. i think very soon, they gonna introduce ERP for our lifts in HDB also.
March 1st, 2008 at 2:38 pm
harhar… very funny sia.. (beep, beep, beep)
March 4th, 2008 at 12:28 pm
Beep. Beep. Completely agree with tamade!
Singapore motorists all coughing out blood and sweat…except for the super rich and growing number of millionnaires!
Yes, Singapore is the only country in the world….with a world class COE…for what? for reducing road congestion, claimed our world class gahmen. So, if this is the case, then our world class MM (no, not who you think…but he is covered too)…our MultimillionnairesMinisters should take away all cars and all Singaporeans start using bicycles and tricyles.
Afterall, much healthier living that way, right? Kill 2 birds with 1 stone! Instead, it is the $$$$ that is the reason behind policies made and excuses given by our dear MMs. Life in Singapore is soooo interesting indeed. Even our world class security can allow a limping terrorist escaped! Only 1….imagine….a platoon of many limping terrorists against our world class Home Team!!!!
Beep. Beep. Beep.

but seriously its killing the motorists pockets for paying these ERP’s, so small country but so many ERP’s its like when we reach year 2020 there’s one ERP very other block. i like Singapore because of the way its country progress, with a great sense but still how can one escaped out of their hands, and its a terrorist…focus more on the safety of your people rather than controlling the numbers of cars…for sure it’ll be great!
