Clever “re-interpretation” of “Mr Chan”-’s honest-from-heart reactions.
We know of news spin — putting a positive spin to situations.
Now meet another technique: news re-spin — putting a positive spin to obviously negative things.

Microsoft should come to Singapore instead… In this case, they can buy over anything they want and raise the price to provide MORE QUALITY windows then…
Here everything also government wins… do you think u can find another company to win the “PRIVATE” temasek?

well this is the million dollar answer(minister answer) for the million dollar question(monopoly’s price increasing).
welcome to the world where politics in singapore makes one a rich person. civil servant can become civil master and monopoly always want money to serve you better and charity is a million dollar business for you to make a golden toilet bowl.

Does that mean that if I renovate my office, I can implement a renovation surcharge? If my patients refuse to pay, can I claim that I can’t afford to renovate and does it mean that I don’t have to take responsibility for my failing fixtures hurting people?

Where does the interest of Public Transport Companies lie? In the shareholder/ stakeholder, or is it the important commuter?
For the minster takes the bus challenge, I’m sure it will be a success. Why? Whenever high profile people are involve in these types of trials, “some people” will ensure that everything will go on smoothly. Ie.. The bus will come one time, the bus will be sparkling clean, the bus will not be crowded, the bus driver will smile at you, your bus drive is a complimentary one.
This is what I call fake reality.

lol. i would to see our important ‘Mr chan’ take the buses and stand up the whole trip while the mad bus driver speed the whole way, jam on the brake while holding on to the handle with 1 hand, the other with a laptop with a heavy bag from the shoulder while trying to balance and bear with the pain of shoulder as if it will dislocate.
try and see. it is a wonderful massage. it will distract you from the financial crisis of your life.
